Creating Boundaries
The Create Boundary From Relief tool allows you to automatically create a vector boundary around 3D relief; rather than having to manually create a boundary by tracing around the model – freehand. This feature is useful to for isolating artwork to perform further operations, such as smoothing or creating an accurate offset. Alternatively, the boundary vector can be used effectively to designate an area you want to machine with a different toolpath, or exclude an area from a toolpath.
The Height Range allows you to specify a height to slice through the relief and create a boundary at that height.
